b'THE ELLESMERIAN competition, though it took a lot of work for the players and a long wait to find out the final results. After the Easter break, it was time for House Golf: a policy of youth29prevailed as James Skellern, Will Aston-Stott, and Elieot Williamson joined Zara Brookshaw to defend our honour on a scorching day, finishing as runners-up. The summer term breezed through and Wakeman-Lambart made a late surge in the House Point race: after being rock bottom for most of the year, a run of academic form in the final few weeks brought us to second place (again!) at the final reckoning. Nice to see people doing well, but lets not leave it so late next time!My thanks to the House Tutors and to Valerie and Farrell: it makes the House run much easier to have good support. I hope that next years Captains, Emily Curzon and Henry Hearn, will have as much fun and even more success. As always, let us LIVE VICTOROUSLY!DWC'
