The girls worked by 42 runs. Ellesmere earned a place in the 3rd/4th place play off,hard together as a team, concentrated on the skills developed over beating Adcote convincingly by 60 runs. Amazing team work fromthe season, and came an impressive 3rd place overall. After only all of the girls, with particularly notable performances from Immy SB,one hard ball training session and one friendly, they demonstrated Esmae, Isla, and Imee E. A brilliant afternoon of cricket; all girls were asuper team work. After 2 losses against Packwood & Wrekin, the girls credit to the school!bounced back with a convincing win over Moreton, putting us in the 3rd & 4th place play off. A nail-biting match against Denstone College Saturday 20th May saw the U13 girls at home to Wrekin, withcame down to the last bowl of the final over, in which the Ellesmere Ellesmere losing by 6 wickets.
