b'THE ELLESMERIAN OE Coronation LunchOn the 3rd of June, the Coronation Lunch was held, bringing together a delightful blend of familiar and new faces among the Old Ellesmerian189community. We were glad to see some fresh graduates from various batches attend the event, reminiscing about cherished memories and forging new connections.During this special occasion, the OE Club proudly announced the appointment of Mr. Paul Russell as the new president. Following the lunch, a touching Tree Dedication ceremony took place, honoring the memory of Tom (Gerald) Latham, the past president of the OE Club (1999-2000) and a distinguished alumnus of Talbot House (1944-51). The Coronation Lunch was a resounding success, and we are looking forward to the future reunion. OE VS 1st Hockey TeamOn Saturday, 10th September, an exciting girls hockey game took place between the College 1st Hockey Team and the OE Hockey Team. It is with great pleasure that we report that the OE Hockey Team emerged victorious in a well-fought match, with a final score of 0-2.We extend our sincerest congratulations to the OE Hockey Team on their impressive performance and hard-earned win. Both teams exhibited exceptional sportsmanship, skill, and determination, making for an entertaining and thrilling match.'
