b'THE ELLESMERIAN 143Throughout the school year Ellesmere riders have competed at aIn January 2022, three riders competed in the NSEA Eventers variety of NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association)Challenge class at Kelsall EC. Bella Spencer-Blow came second in competitions, including dressage, showjumping and eventing. Both100cm class and qualified for the Championships at Hickstead in May. Teams and individuals have enjoyed success and gone forward to compete at prestigious venues such as Hickstead, Keysoe, andA young Ellesmere Grassroots team also celebrated a win and Princethorpe. Along with our seasoned competitors, we have a veryanother Hickstead qualification in the 50cm Grassroots Showjumping promising group of young riders in Lower School who have alsocompetition at Beaver Hall, with individual placings for Amelie achieved some great team results this year. Ellesmere sent five riders to compete in dressage and jumping classes at Southview Equestrian Centre. The Ellesmere team won the 90cm Jumping with Style (JwS) and came 2nd in the 100cm JwS, with Individual placings 1st, 2nd, & 3rd for Oliver Loud, Bella Spencer-Blow, and Tessa OBrien.'
