The girls came right back with a 7-1 Adcote- Won131victory over Oswestry. Two more solid wins over SJT and Priory and Newcastle under Lyme School - Lost013then a tight 2-2 draw with Wrekin College left their progress Wolverhampton Grammar School - Lost110dependant on beating the group leaders Thomas Telford. The girls were magnificent & excellent shooting meant they secured a semi-final place with a 5-3 win. The U12 Netball team had a terrific start to their season on Saturday 15thJanuary as they defeated a competent Wrekin College team by 8Ellesmeres opponents in the semi-final were Prestfelde and sadly, due points to 3.They hadworked so hard on their passing and movementto a few tired passes and lack of concentration on a penalty, they lost skillsand their through court play showed how well they had2-1 in a close game. The teams overall performance was excellent and understood their individual roles as part of the team. Their ability totheir sportsmanship and work rate were top class.turn and pass quickly opened up lots of attacking opportunities andThe next two matches against Oswestry School (won 27-4) and the shooters were excellent inthe attacking circle. A promisingstartAdcote (won 13-1) were alsooutstanding performances from this to the season.talented and committed team.They worked so hard for each otherThe string of successes in the previous games really did set the sceneand showed great skill with intelligent netball. However, the final two for the NSSAA tournament, where Ellesmere topped their group,matches against NULS and Wolverhampton Grammar School were accumulating more points than Moreton Hall, Adcote School, Thomasmuch tougher and Ellesmere came off second best.Despite the final Adams, Sir John Talbot, St Martins, and The Marches. This was followedtwo fixtures, this was still a very successful season. Every player gave up by a 4-0 semi-final win against The Grove and then a 4-2 victory100% and the coaching staff cannot ask for more than that.over Moreton Hall to win the tournament in style.CSD'
