Tennis Academy

Tennis is an integral and important part of the Physical Education and Recreation curriculum at Ellesmere College and access to the facilities and coaching is available to all pupils, whatever their current level in the game.

The team of LTA qualified coaches deliver a fully structured programme each week of the term and many pupils take advantage of the additional coaching, which is available to individuals, pairs and groups.

Our aim is to inspire and encourage young tennis players to be the best they can be, whilst nurturing their individual talent in a safe and supportive environment. For selected High Performance players, the Academy has a revitalised programme providing individual tuition and group sessions, personal fitness, nutrition and competitive match play.

NOTE: There is a charge allocated to having additional lessons and coaching outside of the normal Tennis programme. These will be billed termly after agreement with parents.

"I am so honoured to be invited to the opening ceremony and it is such a pleasure to see this amazing facility. When I grew up, there was very few indoor courts in the country that I had to travel from Kent to London, a journey of 2 hours. So for the pupils of Ellesmere to have such a facility on site it's really special".
