Why Support?

Like many independent schools, the College has no significant endowment to fund bursaries or major capital development. Although the financial management of the School is excellent, reliance on fee income alone constrains the pace and scale of future developments. By generating new income streams we are able to create wider access to an Ellesmere education and bring to fruition major development projects that will benefit children in the short to medium term, as well as aiding recruitment of students and staff in the long term.

Enhance Ellesmere

Enhance Ellesmere enables us to invest in a number of projects, year on year, which enhance and enrich the educational experience for our students. The fund also enables us to further invest in our Bursary programme, which awards places at Ellesmere College, based on academic merit and financial need, to deserving students from diverse backgrounds.

Giving to Enhance Ellesmere each year will make a significant difference to the lives of our pupils and to the future growth and stability of the College. The strength of this giving programme lies in the number of gifts that are donated each year; we would therefore like to encourage the wider College community to make a donation, regardless of how big or small the gift. The donations contribute to small, yet significant additions to the different areas of life within the College, these projects are generally completed within a 12 month period and therefore bring immediate benefit to our current student body.

Your support will make a huge difference and every gift, whether large or small, will be honoured and recognised in an appropriate way.
