The Peter Messenger Memorial Fund

Peter Messenger was a student at Ellesmere from 1975 to 1980. He was a very talented musician who sadly passed away at the early age of 21. Following his death, Peter's parent's set up a memorial fund to financially assist Ellesmere music scholars with their music studies at summer school.

Each year, students are invited to submit applications to the music department explaining the summer school that they would like to attend and giving details of how they feel this experience will benefit them with regards to the development of musical skills.

Submissions must be made by the end of the Lent Term in each academic year.
