Introduction

We do not sing because we are happy, we are happy because we sing. This is true of all the students who took part in this recording and they should take great pride in their achievement. What makes a great performance is the ability to interpret and then communicate something of meaning to the listener. Whether you are enjoying the energy and enthusiasm of Lower School Choir, the glorious, full sound of Chapel Choir, the beautiful harmonies of Chamber Choir or the cool Coro Lux, there is one common denominator. You are listening to school children as they develop a lifelong love of singing, something that transcends the boundaries of language and is accessible to all. I hope that you enjoy this recording.
