Former Ellesmere College student Dewi Penrhyn Jones marked his professional Championship debut last weekend with two wickets as Glamorgan reduced Northants to 128-5 on day three at Wantage Road.
Ellesmere College Under 15 Cricket team are down to the last 4 and through to the semi-finals of English Schools Cricket Association (ESCA) Cup after sealing a convincing win in the Midlands final against Warwick School.

Ellesmere are targeting national success in the Lady Taverners Under-15 Cricket Competition. The girls booked their place at the finals which will be staged at the home of English cricket, Lords Cricket Ground, on May 7th. Read More


Sixth Form student Harry Stow has represented the U19 UAE cricket team, whilst at the ICC Dubai Cricket Academy. Harry has also spent some sessions at Durham County Cricket Club.

Three rising stars were selected to play cricket for Wales. Ben Beaver, Connor Davies and Josh Andrady are part of the College's Elite Cricket Academy and Development Centre, which offers pupils the opportunity to experience some of the best coaching and facilities in the county.

County Duo, Caro and Lottie Hulme, opened a new chapter in the School's history by becoming the first girls to play first team cricket in their age group for Ellesmere.
