Tennis Successes at Ellesmere College

In the first year of the Ellesmere College Tennis Academy, teams at all age groups have succeeded in local schools' tournaments.

Helen Goss, Head of Girls Games and Tennis at Ellesmere College commented, 'this has been an exciting year of tennis at Ellesmere. Pupils of all ages have had the opportunity to develop their tennis skills and during this term teams have participated in local schools' tournaments as well as national ones.'

Locally, College teams have won the following tournaments:

U19 North Shropshire Boys Doubles

U15 North Shropshire Girls Doubles

U13 North Shropshire Boys and Girls Doubles

U13 North Shropshire Boys and Girls Singles

Helen Goss added, 'This is an impressive achievement and we look forward to tennis at Ellesmere College going from strength to strength.'
