Following a request for support at the Tesco store in Ellesmere, to raise funds for their nominated charity, a trio of Sixth Form students spent a Saturday morning bag packing recently.
Through contacts at the Ellesmere and District Age Concern Day Centre, the Tesco Community Champion approached the School to seek their help to do some fundraising for the Alzheimers Society. The 3 Lower Sixth Form students were, Magdalena Helen from Poland, Lam Le Cu from China and Sebastian Overhage, from the Ukraine. Together, their bag packing efforts contributed 87.15 towards the stores efforts to raise money for Alzheimers Society.
Debbie Joynson-Brooke, Activities Director commented, The School always tries to support such requests and the 3 students wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to support this worthwhile cause.
