Pupils Read for Charity

A group of Ellesmere College KS2 pupils have recently completed a readathon, raising funds for childrens charities. The Readathon challenge was set over the Christmas Holidays, for Year 3 to 6 pupils who were challenged to read for pleasure and organise sponsorship to encourage and extend their reading.

Sharon Owen, Head of Lower School, commented, This was a well-embraced sponsored activity that raised 469 to support childrens charities for seriously ill children.
