Following a 12 week lifesaving course a group of Cadets recently completed their qualification and were presented with their certificates in Assembly. The cadets have learnt how to manage potentially life-threatening scenarios and administer first aid. The qualification will also count towards the skill section of their Duke of Edinburghs Bronze Award. Martin Clewlow, an Officer with the Schools Combined Cadet Force, all the pupils have worked hard to perfect their life-saving techniques and I am delighted that they passed the final assessment by an external assessor.
