Pupils Chosen to Represent Country at National Level

Two talented rugby players have recently been selected to represent their country in a national side.

Ashley James, Head Boy has learnt that he has been chosen to play rugby in the Wales Under 18 Team. Sam Lewis in Year 11 has also been given the opportunity to play in the England Under 16 Rugby Team.

Paul Goodwin, Director of Rugby commented: We are delighted that these boys have achieved their individual success. They both have played significant roles in the Schools senior rugby teams and deserve the success that they have now achieved. We all wish them well as they go on to play in the national sides against other countries.

Ian Williams, Midlands Rugby Coach and Director of Sport at Ellesmere commented: How delightful it is to see these players achieve their goal. It is a great honour to have the opportunity to represent ones country and we wish them the very best of luck.
