Pupil plays for Midlands Under 16 Rugby Squad in International Game and Scores first try

A keen and talented rugby playing pupil who was selected for the Midlands Under 17 squad has recently played an international game and scored the first try.

Year 11 pupil, James Preston, played for the Midland U16s game against Belgium U17s in the England Festival at Wellington School, Berkshire, with the Midlands team winning 32 points to 27 with James scoring the first try.

Alex Murphy, Rugby Academy Coach commented, James is a talented rugby player and exemplary team player.  We were all delighted that he has had the opportunity to make such impressive impact in his first international match.
