Music Scholar to Study at Birmingham Conservatoire

A Music Scholar, who leaves the School at the end of this term, has won a place at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music.

The talented pianist and Sixth Form A level student, Mondhana Luanghvisut, is from Thailand. Known as Mimi at the School, during her 2 years, she has regularly played in concerts and impressed audiences.  Mimi is delighted to have been accepted at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music, where she will continue with her piano studies and have the opportunity to develop her talent and musical creativity.

Director of Music, Roger Paul commented, ’I am so thrilled for Mimi. It is a fantastic achievement for her, and one that is well-deserved. When she came over from Thailand two years ago this was always one of her aims, and it is great that, with her hard work and the Music’s Department’s training and support, she has secured her place at this prestigious centre for musical excellence .’
