Making Holidays Fun

This summer the School is organising a variety of activities to keep children entertained throughout the summer holidays. Following on from the success of previous years of activities Ellesmere is offering a 5 week fun filled programme.

The summer is kicking off with 2 weeks of Multi-Activities from Monday 25th July to Friday 5th August, which is ideal for children aged 8 to 14 years old with a mixture of arts, drama, sports, swimming and much more. We have lots of fun, with children taking part in a variety of activities. It has developed greatly since its introduction three years ago and each summer we are offering even more. Parents have commented that it is great for children to be active and build new friendships over the summer.

The summer moves on to 2 weeks of Adventure+ from Monday 8th to Friday 19th August. Participants aged from 11 to 15 years old will have the opportunity to Canoe and Kayak on the local mere, and develop Rock Climbing and Orienteering skills with outdoor pursuits expert, Martin Digby. Other activities will take place on site at the School including team building, outdoor sports and swimming. This is the third time we are running it, having made further changes to further enhance the experience.
