A talent show was held recently in aid of the Haiti Disaster Fund.
Following the Haiti earthquake, a group of Lower School pupils decided that they wanted to raise funds for the disaster fund. Two Year 5 pupils, Eoin Murtagh and Tom Hill came up with the idea of a Lower School Talent Show.
Lower School pupils aged between 7 and 13 participated in the Talent Show which took place over two lunch breaks and was enjoyed by the audience of fellow pupils and teachers. Shan Morgan, Assistant Head of Lower School and Key Stage 2 Teacher commented, Seeing the terrifying images on television and being aware of the whole countrys efforts to rally behind the Haiti Disaster Fund, the Talent Show gave pupils the opportunity to have some fun whilst contributing themselves. A cheque for 57 has been sent to Save the Children Fund who will be donating the money on the Lower School pupils behalf.
