Shropshire based businessman Dylan Barker is returning to his roots to support community rugby in conjunction with Ellesmere College.
Precolor Tank Division, based in Market Drayton has provided the school with an award to assist in the recruitment of talented young rugby players from around the world.
Students will be provided with the opportunity to attend Ellesmere College and realise their potential both on the rugby pitch and in the classroom.
This year, the Precolor Award went to three international players from Fiji, who have entered the school in the Sixth Form.
Alex Murphy, rugby coach said "The provision of such an award now allows us to provide these players with help and support to pay for uniforms, kit and travel expenses. I am so pleased that this annual award will help so many budding rugby players who just need an opportunity"
The family-run business, which spans three generations, has served the water industry for many years and boasts the UKs largest WRA's approved GRP Water, Chemical & Waste Water Storage Tanks.
Precolor representative Dylan Barker, himself involved at mini rugby level with Bridgnorth RFC, said "I appreciate the need to inspire youngsters to reach their full potential. At Ellesmere College Alex and his team do this with ease".
"Ellesmere is steeped in heritage with values that are closely mirrored by those of Precolor Tank Division. I can think of no better school for inspiring rugby players to learn the values and skills necessary to progress to the next level".
