I had always hoped that I'd get chosen but it was great when it was finally confirmed. To take part in this programme is a fantastic opportunity and one that I am really looking forward to"
Both girls have already attended training camps with the Wales Girls Under 16 squads at the National Hockey Centre in Cardiff and were part of a 20 strong team who were recently called up for further training.Helen Davenport, Head of PE at Ellesmere said "This is a great opening for the girls who are playing in the National Age Group of 16, even though they are only 14. They both have great potential and with the support of Hockey Wales will be able to develop all aspects of their game."
