Golfers Offered Free Round on Ellesmere College Course
During the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend Ellesmere College is offering local golfers the opportunity to play its picturesque 9-hole golf course on Sunday 3rd May, the par 30 course, which is situated on the north edge of the College grounds, will be open to visitors. The course is suitable for players of all abilities with open fairways but can offer an interesting challenge to low handicap players.
On Sunday 3rd May, tee times can be booked anytime between 9.00 am and 3.00pm by simply contacting the Sports Centre Manager, Chris Rogers on 01691 626540 or via email chris.rogers@ellesmere.com to reserve your slot. Rounds generally take 1 to 1 hours.
As well as pupils, their parents, staff and their family members, membership of the Ellesmere College Golf Club is available to local residents and the course is open each day of the week between the
1st April and 31st December 2009.
The 2009 Ellesmere College Golf Club fee is 99. Players joining the Club on the day will be given a free pack of 3 golf balls to help them on their way this summer.
