Ellesmere College is celebrating success on the Netball Courts after returning victorious from the Shropshire under 13 Girls Netball County Plate Tournament. The team managed to beat off stiff competition from the likes of Idsall and William Brookes School who they beat 6-2 in the final at Shrewsbury Sports Village. High flying pupils from Ellesmere have also delivered a haul of medals and trophies with recent wins in the U16 North Shropshire Netball and Hockey tournaments.

Rebecca Morris, PE Teacher, said "We are very proud of the levels of sport we play at Ellesmere, we have a large base of activities and encourage every pupil to take part. Our most recent win at the under 13 Netball County Plate Tournament is a huge achievement for the team, they have played so well throughout and winning the final against William Brookes School was a great result".
