During a recent visit to the UK, the Sevens� Rugby team had the opportunity to have a training session with a former Rugby Union Fly-Half who played for both Argentina and Italy.

Diego Dominguez spent an afternoon recently with Senior Rugby players at the School. He joined a training session, leading a few of the sessions, to the delight of the young players, and sharing with them much of his expertise.

Diego made his Italian debut in March 1991 against France and as their Fly-Half in 3 World Cups in 1991, 1995 and 1999. He achieved 74 caps for Italy and although he announced his retirement in 2000 he was persuaded to return as there was no heir apparent. He played his last game for Italy in 2003 against Ireland and since then has spent much of his time encouraging young players around the world to develop their rugby playing skills.

Ian Williams, Director of Sport, commented, �The visit and training session was very worthwhile for the boys who participated. It was very motivational and through emphasising the need for team-play, he will certainly have had a good effect on all those who participated.�
