Ellesmere College has renewed their sponsorship deal with water industry specialists, Precolor Tank Division. Precolor will provide the First XV rugby team with brand new match kit and squad touch line bench coats for this current season.
Precolor Tank Division, based in Market Drayton, Shropshire, is a family business spanning three generations which has served the water industry for many years. Precolor manufacture the UKs largest WRA's approved GRP Water, Chemical & Waste Water Storage Tanks.
Ellesmere College has been busy this term preparing for the forth coming Sevens rugby series, which will see them take part in five national competitions throughout March. Director of Rugby, Alex Murphy, said "We have a very talented squad this year and good strength in depth, which is very exciting. We are very grateful for the continued help and support that Mr Barker and Precolor have given us once again."
Precolor representative Dylan Barker, himself involved at mini rugby level with Bridgnorth RFC, said "I appreciate the need and difficulty to inspire youngsters to reach their full potential. At Ellesmere College Alex and his teams do this with ease. Ellesmere is steeped in heritage with values that are closely mirrored by those of Precolor Tank Division. I can think of no better school for inspiring rugby players to learn the values and skills necessary to progress to the next level".
The school, who maintains its links with Worcester Warriors, Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks rugby clubs, continually develops players who go on to represent Shropshire, North Midlands, Midlands and even the National squads. The Rugby Academy also encourages visits from professional players, such as Welsh Rugby Star Dwayne Peel, who recently dropped into College to provide coaching sessions for our students.
