Ellesmere Girls Win U13 County Netball Title

Ellesmere is celebrating success on the netball courts after returning victorious from the under 13 County Netball Plate Tournament. The team managed to beat off stiff competition in the finals, beating Adcote 5 - 1, Priory 7 - 1, Oldbury Wells 9-2 and Bedstone College 7-4. The competition culminated with the game of the tournament against The Marches School, which saw Ellesmere secure a 9 - 4 victory.

PE Teacher Tina Cox said "We are very proud of the standard of sport that we play at Ellesmere we have a broad range of activities and encourage every pupil to take part, no matter what their ability. Our most recent win at the U13 Netball Tournament is a huge achievement for the team, they have played so well throughout and winning the final against The Marches School was a great result".
