Following two weeks of successful Multi-Activities courses for younger children, Ellesmere College will be embarking on the School's first week of Adventure+ courses with participants taking part in a number of exciting activities aimed at 1114 year olds.
The Adventure+ course will be based in the School's Sports Centre with canoeing taking place on Whitemere and go-karting at Rednal. The children will be split into small groups and assigned a leader for the week who will help guide them through the activities alongside qualified instructors.
The external activities are being run by Martin Digby, a local outdoor pursuit instructor and former Ellesmere College pupil who will be leading the archery, canoeing and climbing sessions. Other activities based at the School will include t-shirt designing and swimming sessions organised by the School's Sports Centre Manager, Chris Rogers. Chris commented, 'It will be a great week of fun and challenging activities for the teens attending. We are utilising the fabulous facilities at the School as well as those in the local area.'
The first course take place from Monday 10th to Friday 14th August and then will be run again between Monday 17th and Friday 21st August .The cost for the week is 125, which includes all activities and equipment as well as a hot lunch each day.
