Ellesmere College Student awarded German Organ Diploma

Student Awarded German Organ Diploma
A student from Ellesmere College, during the half term break, was awarded a German Organ Diploma. Afra Ekert from Stuttgart joined Ellesmere College in September to study the International Baccalaureate in Year 12. To achieve the Diploma, Afra studied for two years and undertook aural training. She then had to perform and conduct a sacred choral piece. Roger Paul, Director of Music, commented "Afra has worked hard to achieve this result and is a great asset to the College. She plays the Chapel organ and the Schultz organ regularly."
