ELLESMERE COLLEGE PUPILS CHOSEN TO REPRESENT SHROPSHIRE IN U13 HOCKEY TEAM

A group of 7 Ellesmere College hockey-playing girls have been selected to play for the county's Under 13 Hockey Junior Academy. They will now travel to Shrewsbury each Thursday to train with the rest of the squad at Meole Brace School.

The group of Year 8 girls are Emma Greville, Ellie Halstead, Katie Leicester. Bethany Lyttle, Lucie McClements, Kate Norman and Scarlett Walker-Smith. Helen Goss, Head of PE and Girls' Games, commented, 'Hockey at Ellesmere, especially in Lower School, has had a very promising start this term. This is an excellent achievement for so many of our pupils to be chosen for the Under 13 Shropshire
