Pupil to Train with Welsh Shooting Squad

A Year 11 pupil with target shooting talent has recently learnt that he has been invited to a select training weekend in January with the Welsh squad.
 
16 year old Ryan Williams from Wem has been shooting since he joined the School in Year 7. He is a member of the Wales Junior Rifle Squad and has shot a number of times in international competitions at Bisley, Surrey, the UK Headquarters of Small Bore Shooting. Ryan has also been chosen to represent Wales in February at the Intershoot competition in Holland.
 
Jim Quinlan, Shooting Coach commented, this is another step of Ryans  progress towards significant international success in the future.
