Ellesmere College PE Teacher to Represent Wales

For the second year, Helen Goss, Head of PE and Girls' Games at Ellesmere College, has been chosen to play for the Welsh Womens' Cricket Association.

Today Helen will be travelling to Bristol to play in the Indoor Cricket World Cup. The Welsh team will be playing against teams from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and England.

The competition lasts for a week and before heading off for a day's practice with her fellow team-mates, Helen commented, ''I am obviously delighted to be in the team and am looking forward to representing Wales again. The World Cup will be the most significant event I have ever been involved in. The team has been playing the indoor form of cricket for over a year in preparation for the competition and coupled with the experience of playing in South Africa last year, the pressure is on to display our skills as a team".
