International Students Enjoy English Summer Experiences

Ellesmere College once again played host to students from around the world attending Summer Language Camps with International House London, and as one of only four sites in the UK to offer the courses, they are always fun filled and a great experience for the students.

Students aged from 8-17 from China, France, Bulgaria, Poland, Mexico, Peru, Russia, Croatia, Spain, Iran, Estonia, Turkey and Germany apply through International House London to come and study in the UK to improve their English and experience the culture and life in the UK!

The agenda is a rich mix of language, creative, sport and cultural activities with the foundation courses covering three key English areas: Discover English, Active English and English Plus. They also take 1½ days out a week to explore and discover other UK cities and attractions such as Liverpool, Chester Zoo, and Manchester United Football Stadium so they can practice their English and see more of the cultural side of the country!

Now in its 5th year at the College, the courses last for 5 weeks and the students enjoy plenty of activities on site at the College too with a variety of sporting activities, creative activities, team building exercises and fun competitions set by the experienced IH staff.

At the end of each of the courses, all the students receive a Certificate of Achievement to celebrate their time on the course!
