With only days to go until the start of the Rugby World Cup, Ellesmere College is inviting local junior clubs to join their festival of rugby on Sunday 25th October.
The competition is part of the Rugby World Cup nationwide programme which has been running from June 10 - October 31 is delivered in partnership with the RFU and gives events across the UK a way to join in and be part of Rugby's biggest year.
England Rugby 2015 Chief Executive, Debbie Jevans, said, "The Festival of Rugby aims to create a true festival feeling across the UK by offering the opportunity for national, local, community and individual events to be part of rugby's biggest year".
Under 13 and Under 16 boys Teams are invited to register for the competition, which will be hosted at the school throughout the day.
Club coaches and parents are free to attend the event and there will be opportunities for players to get involved in training sessions from professional coaches. Food and drink will be available for those looking to enjoy the whole day's festival.
Rugby Coach Alex Murphy, said "2015 promises to be rugby's biggest year, and many people can get involved and celebrate the game through the Festival of Rugby. We would like as many teams as possible to be involved in this year's competition"
