Ellesmere College Easter Holiday Multi Activity Week

Winning Tennis Team

The first week of the Easter holiday at Ellesmere College saw the successful completion of a Lifeguarding Course by 10 local young adults.

This week at the School over 50 children aged between 8 and 13 have been participating in Multi-Activities and Tennis Academy courses.

The children who have taken part in the Multi-Activities have enjoyed participating in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, drama sessions, sports and swimming. The week culminated today in an Easter themed day including an Easter egg hunt around the School's grounds. Activity Leader Belinda Bellis commented, 'The children particularly enjoyed the Easter themed activities and crafts throughout the week. With good weather the children were able to enjoy outdoor activities including ball games and golf.'

Keen local young tennis players also had the opportunity to get involved in the Ellesmere College Easter Tennis Academy Course. Players took part in games, skills sessions and competitions to improve their skills before the start of the tennis season. Tennis Academy Director Nikki Hoy added, 'We have had an amazing week, with the children having fun whilst focusing on the development of their tennis playing.'
