1st Team Succeed in National Competition

From the 500 schools participating in the 2009 Daily Mail Schools U18 Rugby Cup, the 1st XV Rugby Team are delighted to have now reached the last 32. Following their recent match against King Edwards School, Lichfield, their 5th round in this years national schools rugby competition, the team are faring particularly well. Paul Goodwin, Director of Rugby commented, The boys have risen to the occasion at each round so far. Clearly the opposition will improve in quality with the next match scheduled against Oakham School in January and the team have already started working towards raising their game before the next round early in the New Year.
