County Representative Honours for 3 Pupils
Three pupils have been selected to play rugby at County level.
Year 9 pupils, Tom Sloan and Zac Xiourouppa, as well as Armani Roberts in Year 8 have been selected for the Shropshire U14 squad. They have been training with the squad every Wednesday night at Telford Rugby Football Club and have had the opportunity recently to play in their first U14 County match together.
Alex Murphy, Head of Rugby, explained, The trio were selected to represent Shropshire in a match against Herefordshire last Sunday. This selection has been the result of hard work put into training since the beginning of the season. Hopefully they will continue to maintain this work ethic and regularly feature for the Shropshire side.
