ELLESMERE COLLEGE PUPILS GO ON EXPEDITIONS All pupils from Ellesmere are going on 3 days of expeditons. Commencing next Wednesday, 18th October all the pupils will be participating in 3 days of expedition. Senior school CCF Army Section Yr.11 and Yr 10 Destination Nescliffe training area: military maneuvers Navy Section. Destination HMS Bristol, Portsmouth: Naval familiarization and leadership tasks RAF Section. Destination Betsy-coed N. Wales: Outdoor pursuits and camping skills Training Group Yr 9 Destination Betsy-coed N. Wales: Outdoor pursuits, navigation and camping skills D.of E Gold: Destination River Severn, Shrewsbury and surrounding area: Canadian canoeing and camping Silver: Destination Snowdonia National Park: two night expedition of camping and navigation Bronze: Destination Glyn Ceiriog, Navigation and camping skills Media Studies Destination Shrewsbury & Manchester day visits: film making + Cinema workshops Stage Tech In College Theatre workshops & a visit to the Theatre in Manchester, Green Team In College & visits to the Alternative Centre for Technology & The Organic Farm, Cockshutt Social Services College based with excursions to the local community Tennis Academy Coaching, Training and matches Lower School Yr. 7 Destination Kingswood, Cumbria away for 3 days, 2 nights Wednesday Yr. 4 The Tate Gallery in Liverpool Yr. 5 Jodrell Bank and Cheshire Candle Factory Yr. 6 Blists Hill, Ironbridge Yr. 8 RSPB, Conway Castle Thursday Yr. 4 & 5 Play in a day at College Yr. 6 Preston Montford Yr. 8 Centre for Alternative Technology Friday Yr 4, 5 & 6 Play Practice in College Yr. 8 In College Activities
