Ellesmere College Drama Group Perform 'Peter Pan' at Local Primary Schools

A drama group from a Ellesmere College recently had the opportunity to take their pantomime to local primary schools as well as performing to younger pupils in the School and to the staff's children during their Christmas Party.

After a series of demanding rehearsals, the Year 10 Drama Group at Ellesmere College delivered five outstanding performances of their Peter Pan Pantomime to some young local audiences. The first performance last week was to fellow Lower School Pupils at the School's Art Centre. The next morning, the cast visited Baschurch Primary School before travelling onto Ellesmere Primary School for two performances there. Yesterday saw the cast return to Ellesmere College's Art Centre to perform to a lively young audience at the annual Staff Children's Christmas Party, as well as their families.

Richard Boswell, the Head of Drama at Ellesmere College commented 'The group of 19 nineteen Year 10 pupils who were in the pantomime cast have gelled well together and worked hard to create a funny, fast-moving pantomime which thrilled all their young audiences.'
