Following the recent Shropshire hockey trials six girls from Ellesmere College have been chosen to play in county teams.
The keen and talented hockey players all play for Ellesmere College teams and are delighted to have been chosen to now also represent the county. They are: Alex Fearn and Sarah Wicks in the Under 13's, Zoe Evans, Emily Lewis and Charlotte Shearer in the Under 14's and Emma Johnson in the U17's team.
Helen Goss, Head of Girls' Games at Ellesmere College commented, 'The girls will now all receive squad training each week with their team mates and will play matches against other counties. We congratulate them on their selection and wish them every success as they further develop their hockey skills..'
