A group of pupils have recently returned from a successful skiing trip to Switzerland.
The skiing trip is just one of many co-curricular activities which are organised for pupils. Thirty-five pupils were accompanied by four members of staff to Les Sciernes, a village situated between Gstaad and Montreux. The group stayed in a small self-contained centre and Dr. Tom Gareh, the Expedition Leader commented: The weather was very good and the snow was excellent. This meant that the groups experienced skiers were able to push their abilities to the limit. The beginners group too made excellent progress and were also skiing from the top of the mountain by the end of the week. The two intermediate groups made good progress and all in all the week was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
