A group of three A-level drama students from Ellesmere College will be performing a series of short acts at the National Trust property, Erdigg during the afternoon of Saturday 15th October.
As part of their course work, Nicholas Kenny, Ian Disspain and David Adams will be performing a play that they have also written together. As they meander around the Erddigs House and Gardens, they will be surprising visitors as they pop around corners to perform an act which depicts life and times of the people who have owed and worked at Erddig. The title of this piece of promenade theatre is called Erddig Encounters.
Richard Boswell, Director the Arena Arts Programme at Ellesmere College commented, we are delighted that the students are able to perform at such a fascinating local venue and we appreciate all the help that Jill Burton from the NT has given. We hope that the visitors on the day enjoy the performance as much as the three performers have enjoyed creating it.
Nicholas Kenny added, We have all vastly enjoyed the process of devising this performance and investigating life at Erdigg through the ages.
