Sporting Triumph for U12 Girls from Ellesmere College

Ellesmere College U12 girls have had a phenomenally successful week.  On Tuesday 8th March Ellesmere College entered A and B teams in the Sport England 7 aside Regional Hockey Festival held at St John Talbot School along with 6 other teams.  Having won all matches in their respective pools, the two teams faced each other in the final playoff.  Ellesmere College A won with a 4 - 0 final score.

Then on the following Thursday, the same girls went on to win the U12 Netball tournament held at Ellesmere College beating 9 rival teams.  Sharon Owen from the P.E. Department said "The girls have had quite a week.  They are a keen and talented group and are a joy to teach.  It is really pleasing that all girls in the year have represented the school and have contributed to Ellesmere's success'
