Pupils from the College have recently been busy raising money on behalf of MacMillan Cancer Relief.
On Friday 7th February the school was involved in a day of fundraising. Pupils in the Lower School took part in the Hold Your Tongue Challenge 2003 - challenging schoolchildren all over the country to stop talking and Hold Their Tongues for 10 minutes. To coincide with this the College also had a Non-Uniform day, allowing all pupils to come to school out of uniform.
The total raised was a staggering £2117, which was presented to Mr Ian Musty from MacMillan Cancer Relief on Wednesday 26th February. He said “This is the largest amount raised by any Shropshire School, and will be of great help as we are about to begin to add additional cancer facilities at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford”
