William NOrris

One youngster from Ellesmere College is making a name for himself in the unusual word of fencing. Thirteen year old William Norris, from Oswestry has represented both the West Midlands and competed Nationally in the sport of Epee which is a form of fencing.

This year, William came second in the U14 West Midlands Competition, a place above his result for last year when he came third. In February he will be competing in Stoke on Trent in the National Competition, and if his current form continues, he should improve on last years position of 29th.

William has been doing Epee just over a year and has only one lesson a week at the College, so has done extremely well in such a competitive sport.
