Rugby Triumph

Ellesmere College has continued with its strong rugby roots by producing 4 young players who have been chosen to play in the squad representing Shropshire Schools U18.

Robbie Houston, from Ellesmere, James Mullock, from Whitchurch, Kit Wapshott, from Oswestry and Richard Baxter, from Shrewsbury, had to go through a series of trials before being selected.

This was good experience for Robbie and Richard who also faced stiff competition in trials to represent the North Midlands in the 22-man squad.
